Cervical cancer risk: Do you know about it?
If you answerd all three questions with yes,
then you should know the following:
- Cervical cancer is the second most common cause of death from cancer (after breast cancer) among young women in Europe.
- The risc of contracting cervical cancer can be reduced by a vaccination.
- The ideal age to be vaccinated is before the first sexual contact.
Important: cervical cancer, precancer of the vulva and genital warts are caused by human papilloma viruses, which can now be effectively vaccinated against.
